The Budget Enactment directs NYPA to conduct an annual conferral process to gather information and views on the state’s progress on CLCPA goals, through outreach to state and other regulatory entities as well as private stakeholders, to help inform NYPA’s renewable development strategies. As part of its first annual conferral process in 2023, NYPA spoke with more than 50 stakeholders from diverse backgrounds from across the state. NYPA issued its first conferral report in November 2023.
