The Freedom of Information Law (“FOIL”), N.Y. Public Officers Law Article 6, grants members of the public access to the records of government in accordance with its provisions. Right to Appeal
Pursuant to Public Officer Law § 89(4), if you believe any portion of your FOIL request has been improperly denied, you may appeal the decision within 30 days in writing to the FOIL Appeals Officer.
