Northern New York Power Proceeds Allocation Board to Recommend

Economic Development Funding at October 8 Meeting

   

MASSENA—The Northern New York Power Proceeds Allocation Board is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, October 8, at 4 p.m. in the conference room of The Power Authority’s Massena office, located in The Mercantile Building, 2 Water Street. 

 

The Proceeds Board is expected to make funding recommendations under the Northern New York Power Proceeds Allocation Act, which become law on December 29, 2014, to apply the net earnings of the market-sale of unutilized hydropower from New York Power Authority’s St. Lawrence-FDR Power Project to support economic development in St. Lawrence County.

 

Consistent with Section 104(4) of the Open Meetings Law, the public has the right to attend the meeting. The meeting can be viewed online by visiting the Power Authority’s website atwww.nypa.govand selecting “View Meetings.”
