During the initial year, $25 million in funding was distributed to organizations statewide, deepening NYPA’s collaboration with the NYSDOL, the State Office of Just Energy Transition, and job-skills training providers. Special emphasis was placed on supporting disadvantaged communities and regions surrounding NYPA facilities, further advancing the goals set forth in VISION2030 Renewed to build a skilled, diverse, and future-ready energy workforce.
