Northern New York Power Proceeds Allocation Board to Recommend
Economic Development Funding
MASSENA, N.Y.—The Northern New York Power Proceeds Allocation Board will meet on Wednesday, Apr. 1, at 4 p.m. in the conference room of the New York Power Authority’s Massena office, located at 2 Water Street in The Mercantile Building.
The proceeds board is expected to make funding recommendations under the Northern New York Power Proceeds Allocation Act—signed into law on Dec. 29, 2014—to apply the net earnings of the market-sale of unutilized hydropower from the Power Authority’s St. Lawrence-FDR Power Project to support economic development in St. Lawrence County.
Consistent with Section 104(4) of the Open Meetings Law, the public has the right to attend the meeting. The meeting can be viewed online by visiting the Power Authority’s website at www.nypa.gov and selecting “View Meetings.”
