NYPA Ranked Among 10 Best Midsize Employer by Forbes 

  

Power Authority Recognized as Highest Ranked Utility

    

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.—The New York Power Authority (NYPA) today was named Best Midsize American Employer by Forbes Magazine.The Power Authority earned a high ranking as the No. 10best place to work out of 500companies and was ranked first within the utility industry.

Forbes partners with market research firm Statista to create the list using feedback from employees. Anonymous responsesare surveyed on a range of criteria including salary, work environment, training programs and opportunities to advance. More than 217,000 employees working at U.S. companies with more than 1,000 people were surveyed.

   

NYPA’s workforce includes individuals with a diverse range of skills, including engineers, mechanics, security professionals, electricians, project managers, environmental scientists, data analysts, cloud engineers, financial analysts, energy traders, stakeholder outreach professionals, and many others.
