MASSENA, N.Y.--The New York Power Authority is working to mitigate embankment erosion due to recent high-water levels near the S Curves in the vicinity of Hopkins Bay in Massena. Members of the public and boaters are advised to stay clear of the area, to use extreme caution near the waterway, and to adhere to all posted signs and barriers near the construction and general area.
