New York Power Authority to Host Diverse Business Owners and Industry Professionals at its 2025 Supplier Diversity Expo

WHITE PLAINS—The New York Power Authority (NYPA) will host more than 700 business owners and industry professionals at its 2025 Supplier Diversity Expo. The event will promote supply chain diversity by connecting firms with an array of diverse suppliers. The event, scheduled between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Sleepy Hollow Hotel—located at 455 S. Broadway in Tarrytown—is part of the Power Authority and Canal Corporation’s ongoing commitment to invest in the growth and development of small and diverse businesses in New York State. The event is free and open to the public.

The annual expo will provide critical information to New York firms that will help expand their capabilities and grow their customer base. Additionally, the expo provides opportunities for attendees to network and establish business relationships with prime contractors and other diverse businesses. This year, the expo will focus on the theme: “Empowering Opportunities for New York Businesses.”

The expo will include seven strategy and opportunity workshops, 62 exhibitors, and a “Business Meet-Up" that will provide suppliers with the opportunity to engage with procurement decision-makers. The expo will center on promoting awareness and new pathways to contract opportunities, supporting business growth. In the past year, the Power Authority and Canal Corporation’s total spend for MWBEs was $121 million and $14.9 million for SDVOBs.

The agenda, including speakers and exhibitors, is available at nypa.gov/supplierdiversityexpo.

Additional information on NYPA's supplier diversity program is available on its webpage. Procurement information for NYPA and Canals, can be found on nypa.gov/procurement, and on the New York State Contract System at nyscr.ny.gov.
