NYPA Announces Road Closure on State Route 131 Beginning Monday, Oct. 9
Weeklong Closure to Accommodate Roadway Maintenance
MASSENA–State Route 131 in Massena will be closed beginning Monday, Oct. 9, to accommodate maintenance of the Massena Intake roadway.
The Massena Intake Boat Launch will continue to be open throughout the project, which is expected to last through the week. Traffic will be diverted along Town Line Road to the west of the work area and Pontoon Bridge Road to the east, traveling along Maple Street in the village of Massena.
The Massena Intake Boat Launch will remain accessible from the west end only.
The detour is scheduled to remain in effect through Oct. 13, but weather conditions could delay the project timeline.
