Hawkins Point Visitors Center Hosts Holiday Break Fun Between December 27 and December 29

“Wild About STEM” Days to Feature Movies, Activities

         

MASSENA—The New York Power Authority will be hosting STEM activities for kids to exercise their hands and minds over the holiday break at the Hawkins Point Visitors Center, located at 21 Hawkins Point Road in Massena. The “Wild About STEM” days will be held from December 27 until December 29 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Participants are encouraged to preregister for the activities by calling (315) 764-6679.

 

The free activities will give children the opportunity to participate in STEM activities throughout the day and take home their creations. Additionally, animated and live action family friendly movies will also be shown in the visitors center theater over the holiday break between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring their own snacks.

 

The Hawkins Point Visitors Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The visitors center will be closed on Friday, December 23, Friday, December 30, and Monday, January 2.
