MASSENA - The New York Power Authority will host its Spooktacular Halloween Party at the Frank S. McCullough, Jr. Hawkins Point Visitors Center and Boat Launch at the St. Lawrence-Franklin D. Roosevelt Power Project on Saturday, Oct. 29.
Events will include pumpkin painting, games, crafts, movies and trick or treating for all children in costume. The fun is scheduled from 1-3 p.m. Admission is free.
During the party, guests will also be able to view the wide array of interactive exhibits at the visitors center on the themes of water power and the St. Lawrence facility, basics of electricity and uses of electricity. Visitors can touch, see and listen to the many interactive exhibits while enjoying the panoramic views of the NYPA power dam.
The visitors center is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday to Friday. For more information call 315-764-0226 ext. 302
