N.Y. Power Authority To Hold Public Forum In November On Proposed Rate Action

NEW YORK—The New York Power Authority (NYPA) will hold a public forum next month on a proposed increase of the fixed-cost component of the electric production rates of its New York City governmental customers.

The forum is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at NYPA’s New York City office at 501 Seventh Avenue, on the ninth floor. 

In September, the NYPA Board of Trustees authorized the scheduling of the forum for obtaining the views of interested parties.  Following a 45-day statutory public comment period on the proposed rate action, NYPA staff will return to the trustees with a recommended proposal for final adoption.
