Charles Lipsky, NYPA’s Longest-Serving Chief Engineer and a Westchester Resident, Retires from Statewide Public Power Utility After Nearly 4 Decades

Charles I. Lipsky, fourth from left, the N.Y. Power Authority’s longest-serving chief engineer, was honored by the NYPA trustees on June 27 with a resolution of thanks and admiration, following his retirement from the Authority after nearly four decades. With Lipsky, from left, are NYPA Vice Chairman Michael J. Townsend, Trustee Elise M. Cusack, Trustee Thomas W. Scozzafava, NYPA President and Chief Executive Officer Timothy S. Carey, NYPA Chairman Frank S. McCullough, Jr. (holding trustee resolution with Lipsky), Trustee Leonard N. Spano, and Trustee Robert E. Moses.
