Buffalo and Erie County Greenway Standing Committee to Meet December 19 for Approval of a Grants Management Services Agreement

BUFFALO—The next meeting of the Buffalo and Erie County Greenway Fund Standing Committee will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in the Phillips Lytle Grover Conference Room, One Canalside, 125 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14203-2887.  The meeting is open to the public.


The meeting agenda includes approval of a Grants Management Services Agreement with the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo.


The committee receives funds from the New York Power Authority as part of the settlement agreement related to the 50-year federal license received for the Niagara Power Project in 2007. During the term of the license, the Buffalo and Erie County Standing Committee will receive $2 million a year. It is composed of one representative from Erie County, the City of Buffalo, Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy and NYPA.
