Nicandri Nature Center: Bringing Nature to You and You Back to Nature
About the Nicandri Nature Center
The facility provides science and nature education in both indoor and outdoor settings for the public, including school and community groups. Check out what visitors are saying on social media to see what the buzz is all about.
The center planned to start reopening on November 9th. Reservations required for all visitors and capacity is limited. Please visit the Nicandri Nature Center website for details about closures or the status of the reopening process.
Named in honor of longtime Massena community leader and NYPA Vice Chair, Eugene L. Nicandri championed the effort to build the nature center. It is part of the ongoing commitment to the environment and economic development in northern New York, and aims to become a major North Country tourist draw.
