Our wildly popular Annual Wildlife Festival Weekend returns on Saturday & Sunday, September 22 & 23 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Niagara Power Vista! The family festival, co-sponsored by the Niagara County Federation of Conservation Clubs, will run both Saturday & Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.

The 2018 festival, our 33rd Annual Wildlife Festival, is free for all visitors and includes a Boy Scout Camporee, STEM tent, wildlife shows, conservation and science activities, the Tuscarora tent featuring the Niagara River Iroquois Dancers with crafts and activities that highlight the Tuscarora culture including corn husk dolls, beading, weaving and lacrosse. Plus visitors can enjoy free rides on the Discover Niagara Shuttle to the Lewiston Harvest Festival, Gorge Discovery Center and other area attractions.

The STEM tent -- a collaboration between WNY STEM and the New York Power Authority -- will include robotics demonstrations, hands-on activities and educational information on sustainability and renewable energy.

Weekend activities include the shooting trailer, fishing pond, crossbow (age appropriate), archery, crafts, safety identifications, face painting, rock climbing wall, chainsaw art, fishing demonstrations, and much more.

A variety of conservation exhibitors will also be on hand, including NYS Department of Environmental Conservation divisions, NYS Parks Interpretive Center, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services, plus clubs to include sportsmen, trappers, and boy and girl scouts to name a few.
