Shining a Light:
Employee Resource Groups:
We empower our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to articulate and highlight the value of employee based contributions to NYPA’s overall strategy. Through partnerships and collaborations, both internal and external, ERGs increase cultural competency, strengthen internal business partnerships, develop subject matter experts and refine professional development. Our ERGs include the ECO Team, Generations, Multicultural, Pride in Power, Veterans, and Women in Power.
Guiding Principles:
By encouraging diversity in all aspects of our business, from recruiting to cultural competency training, NYPA aims to be the company of choice in the utility and Energy space for applicants and employees from all walks of life. Our culture of inclusion makes for an engaged and competitive workforce that will be on the cutting edge of innovation.
