Oct. 2 In honor of Energy Awareness Month, the Niagara Power Vista will show screenings of Electricity by "Bill Nye the Science Guy" at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. A "Basics of Electricity" program will follow. Take home energy safety information.
 
Oct. 9 In honor of Energy Awareness month, the Niagara Power Vista will host  screenings of Wild About Safety with Timon and Pumbaa, Safety Smart at Home, and Louie the Lightning Bug: Play it Safe Around Electricity. Also: The Shocking Truth About Electrical Safety for teens. Show times: 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.  A "Basics of Electricity" program will follow.

Oct. 16 In honor of Energy Awareness month, the Niagara Power Vista will focus on natural energy with screenings of The Sun and Wind by "Bill Nye the Science Guy" as well as a presentation on hydropower and how NYPA is helping to achieve New York's goal to get 45 percent of its energy from renewable resources. In the Community Room, 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
 
Oct. 23 In honor of Energy Awareness month, the Niagara Power Vista will host screenings of Timon and Pumbaa, Safety Smart Goes Green for youngsters, and The Science of Disney Imagineering: Energy, for teens and up. Screenings at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
