Blenheim-Gilboa Power Project Visitors Center - Festival of Trees: Dec 1 - Jan 3

This year 19 festive trees were decorated from various groups including Minekill State Park, local schools, senior groups, a Girl Scout Troop, American Legion Auxiliary Post 1379, a local historical society and more.

The Blenheim-Gilboa Power Project Visitors Center in North Blenheim, is located on the Schoharie Creek in the northern Catskill Mountains.

Our admission-free visitors center is housed in a 19th century dairy barn! Please call ahead for directions, and special event information, 1-800-724-0309. Visitors center hours of operation: Open 7 days a week, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., year-round. Closed on Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and Good Friday.

Niagara Power Vista - Festival of Trees: Dec 1 - Jan 4An official stop along the “Holiday Lights of Niagara Trail” our Festival of Trees featured a dazzling display of artificial evergreens adorned with energy efficient lights, decorated for the season by local not-for-profit groups. See the list of 2013 tree-decorating participants.

Would you like to participate in next years' 2014 Festival of Trees? Any not-for-profit organization can participate, start by contacting us to reserve a tree. Call 716-286-6652 or simply submit your completed form. NYPA supplies the tree and LED lights, you supply the decorations that describe your organization!
