Jan. 13: “Water for Elephants” (2011). A veterinary student abandons his studies after his parents are killed and joins a traveling circus as their vet.

Jan. 20: “Sarah’s Key” (2010). In modern-day Paris, a journalist finds her life becoming entwined with a young girl whose family was torn apart during the notorious Vel' d'Hiv Roundup in 1942.

Jan. 27: “Larry Crowne” (2011). After losing his job, a middle-aged man reinvents himself by going back to college.
