New Energy Efficiency Projects Under Way

NYPA's efforts support Governor Cuomo's ambitious energy and environmental goals. In 2012, NYPA financed a record of nearly $270 million in energy efficiency projects. As a result, New York State taxpayers can expect to save $6.4 million a year on energy costs at public facilities. These latest energy-saving efforts help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 33,900 tons annually. See list of 2012 - 2015 energy efficiency projects.
