April 25 Earth Week Event at SUNY Upstate Medical University

Top officials of the New York Power Authority, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, National Grid and the State University of New York Upstate Medical University on Thursday, April 25, will mark an ongoing, comprehensive energy efficiency project being undertaken throughout the Syracuse campus as part of Governor Cuomo’s Build Smart NY initiative.

Following the news conference, reporters and others will be provided with tours of research labs at Upstate Medical’s Weiskotten Hall and of Upstate University Hospital, where some of the energy efficiency improvements have taken place.

Turn right onto Irving Avenue. Proceed past Weiskotten Hall/Setnor Academic Building on right. Take right on University Place (Main entrance of the Veterans Affairs Medical Center will be on left). Proceed to last parking lot on the right. Take right into parking lot.

After parking vehicle, proceed on foot on University Place to Irving Avenue. Take left onto Irving Avenue. Entrance to Setnor Academic Building will be on left, just past the entrance to Weiskotten Hall.
