Lynn Hait receives 2012 Public Service Excellence Award

New York Power Authority (NYPA) employee Lynn H. Hait was awarded the State Academy for Public Administration’s (SAPA) 2012 Public Service Excellence Award on May 9. Hait, NYPA’s regional manager for Central New York, was honored April 24, by NYPA Trustees in recognition of receiving the SAPA award and his handling of emergency operations at NYPA’s Blenheim-Gilboa Pumped Storage Power Project during Tropical Storm Irene last summer.

Hait, NYPA’s regional manager for Central New York, was honored April 24, by NYPA Trustees in recognition of his earning the State Academy for Public Administration’s (SAPA) 2012 Public Service Excellence Award. Hait received the SAPA award at a ceremony held on May 9, in Albany, N.Y. Above, Hait is flanked by NYPA Vice Chairman John Dyson (right), and NYPA President and CEO Gil Quiniones, following the April 24 recognition.
