NYPA Halloween Party Promises ‘Spooktacular’ Good Time

MASSENA—Tricks and treats are on tap for the New York Power Authority’s (NYPA) annual Spooktacular Halloween Party to be held Saturday, Oct. 23, at the admission-free Frank S. McCullough, Jr. Hawkins Point Visitors Center and Boat Launch.

You bring the tricks and the treats are on us, including pumpkin and face painting, games, movies and goodie bags for all children in costume. The fun is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. Admission for the event is free.

During the party, guests will also be able to view the wide array of interactive exhibits at the visitors center on the themes of water power and the St. Lawrence-Franklin Delano Roosevelt Power Project, and the basics and uses of electricity. Children and adults will be able to touch, see and listen to the many interactive exhibits while enjoying the panoramic views of the NYPA power dam
