Statement By New York Power Authority CEO Richard M. Kessel, Regarding The Expiration Of The Power For Jobs Program

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
"Without the legal authority to continue the Power for Jobs and Energy Cost Savings Benefit programs, the Power Authority is forced to stop providing the benefits under the programs. All of the businesses that participate in these programs have been notified. We remain hopeful that legislation soon will be enacted to authorize NYPA to again be able to administer an economic development and energy savings program for businesses across the state."
