Media Advisory and Photo Opportunity: New York Power Authority and Watertown Schools to Reveal Widespread support for Historic solar Initiative

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York Power Authority (NYPA) President and Chief Executive Officer Richard M. Kessel will be joined by Watertown School Superintendent Terry Fralick to host a news conference about the overwhelming support for NYPA’s historic solar initiative aimed at increasing the amount of solar energy produced in New York State nearly fivefold. In addition, the initiative will foster the development of solar technologies, support public sustainability efforts, provide clean energy educational opportunities and stimulate the economy with new clean energy jobs throughout the state.
The deadline for bids for the solar initiative are due on Earth Day, April 22nd.
