NYPA to Begin Dock And Buoy Installation Week of April 12

MASSENA – During the week of April 12, the New York Power Authority (NYPA) will begin the installation of docks and buoys along the St. Lawrence River in the vicinity of its St. Lawrence-Franklin D. Roosevelt Power Project. The process is expected to take approximately two weeks, but is dependent on river conditions.
Docks and buoys will be installed in the following locations:
In the Town and Village of Waddington:
Howard Park docks
Whitaker Park docks
Old Milk Factory buoys
In the Town of Massena:
Massena Intake docks
Hawkins Point docks and buoy
South Channel buoys
All the docks and buoys are scheduled to be removed in October. Public announcements of the dock and buoy removal, including media notification by NYPA, will be distributed at that time.
