NYPA Power Vista Joins in the Anniversary Celebration of Niagara Falls state Park

LEWISTON—The New York Power Authority's Niagara Power Project will recognize the 125th Anniversary of Niagara Falls State Park as part of the Power Vista visitors center’s Cabin Fever series Saturday, March 13.

A representative of the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation will discuss the rich history of the oldest state park in the United States, which was voted one of the ten most beautiful spots in the country by the Today Show in 2007.  Programs will run at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Niagara Power Project Power Vista’s community room.

The Power Vista features displays and interactive exhibits relating to the production of electricity, energy efficiency and the area’s history, as well as spectacular views from the observation deck, 350 feet above the Niagara River Gorge.  Parking and admission at the Power Vista, located at 5777 Lewiston Road in Lewiston, are always free of charge.
