Media Advisory and Photo Opportunity: New York Power Authority to Make Annual Payment Of $2 Million to Local Entities on Dec. 16

New York Power Authority (NYPA) President and Chief Executive Officer Richard M. Kessel will present a $2 million oversized check Wednesday to the St. Lawrence Local Government Task Force. The event will be held at the Power Authority’s St. Lawrence-Franklin D. Roosevelt Power Project visitors center in Massena at 2 p.m.

The Task Force is comprised of communities and school districts within the boundary of the Power Authority’s St. Lawrence project that will soon benefit from NYPA’s latest annual payment in connection with the project’s receipt of a federal operating license in 2003.
