New York Power Authority Hosts Craft Days for
Kids

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MASSENA—“Craft Days for Kids,” a weekly summer
event sponsored by the New York Power Authority, will kickoff
Thursday, July 2, at the admission-free Frank S. McCullough, Jr.
Hawkins Point Visitors Center and Boat Launch.
Geared for children ages 4-10, the event will be
held at 1 p.m. every Thursday in July and August. All materials will
be provided. Please reserve space by calling (315) 764-0226 ext.
302.

Besides enjoying free movies, visitors can sample the array of
hands-on exhibits at the Hawkins Point facility, which presents
information on such subjects as electricity generation and NYPA’s
St. Lawrence-FDR Power Project. Visitors are sure to enjoy the
panoramic views of the power dam. The visitors center is now
operating on its summer schedule and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7
p.m.
