NYPA President Richard M. Kessel announces about $7 million in Power Authority funding to construct a 1.1 megawatt solar energy system for the University at Buffalo.  This is part of NYPA’s $21 million statewide renewable energy program to support Governor David A. Paterson’s ambitious “45 by 15” clean energy goals that help create green collar jobs, strengthen energy independence and contribute to a cleaner environment.
