Fishing Piers Closed at Island View and Whittaker Parks Contact: May 6, 2009 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE WADDINGTON—The fishing piers at the Village of Waddington’s Island View Park and Whittaker Park are closed until further notice due to structural repairs. The New York Power Authority (NYPA) is working closely with the Village of Waddington to expedite the repair work. NYPA will notify the public when the piers are scheduled to reopen.
