Power Authority to Hold Public Hearing on Proposed Power
Contract with Newton Falls Fine Paper Co.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The New York Power Authority (NYPA) will hold a
public hearing on April 8 on a proposed power supply contract with
Newton Falls Fine Paper Co. in St. Lawrence County.
The power allocation would be provided under the
Preservation Power Program, which was established by a 2005 New York
State law for qualified businesses in St. Lawrence, Jefferson and
Franklin counties.
