Media Advisory: New York Power Authority to Hold Public Hearing on Proposed Power Contract with Newton Falls Fine Paper Co. April 3, 2009 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The New York Power Authority (NYPA) will hold a public hearing on April 8 on a proposed power supply contract with Newton Falls Fine Paper Co. in St. Lawrence County. The power allocation would be provided under the Preservation Power Program, which was established by a 2005 New York State law for qualified businesses in St. Lawrence, Jefferson and Franklin counties.
