Media Advisory &Photo Opportunity: NYPA Set to Co-Sponsor Northern Adirondack Envirothon May 7, 2008 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The New York Power Authority (NYPA), in completion of its celebration of Earth Day, will co-sponsor the Northern Adirondack Envirothon with the St. Lawrence County Soil and Water Conservation District at Paul Smith’s College on Thursday, May 8, at 9 a.m. More than 180 high school students from across the North Country will participate. Schools must preregister, but admission is free for spectators. Representatives from NYPA will host an informational booth. In addition, NYPA will display a hybrid-electric vehicle.
