Niagara Power Project Visitors
Center Adds High-Tech Teaching Tools
Cheryl Wilson, assistant to the dean of Niagara
University's College of Education, demonstrates the recently
installed SMART Board technology at the New York Power Authority’s
Power Vista to (from left) Stacie Blaut, Gregory Miller and Vic
Couturier, graduate students in the University’s Elementary
Education program. The SMART Board technology is among several
recent high-tech additions at the Power Vista, the admission-free
visitors center at NYPA’s Niagara Power Project. More than 200
education students from Niagara University have attended seminars in
violence prevention and child abuse recognition at the center.
