Santa Returns to NYPA Visitors

NORTH BLENHEIM—The admission-free visitors center
at the New York Power Authority’s (NYPA) Blenheim-Gilboa Pumped
Storage Power Project will welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus for the
annual “Photos with Santa” event on Saturday, Dec. 8, from 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m.
Children will receive a special NYPA ornament and
will have the opportunity to give Santa their wish lists and have a
free photo taken with him. A free raffle will also be held for a
package of energy-efficient holiday tree lights.
The visitors center, located in a restored
19th-century dairy barn, features numerous hands-on exhibits on such
subjects as the basics of electricity, uses of electricity and
operation of the Blenheim-Gilboa project.
