Robert Moses Fishing Facilities
to Close for Construction

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LEWISTON—The New York
Power Authority (NYPA) plans to close the public fishing facilities
near the base of the Robert Moses Niagara Power Plant on Monday,
October 8.
Construction at the
site will entail civil improvements to enhance safety in preparation
for future parking enhancements NYPA has committed to as part of the
Niagara Power Project Relicensing agreement.
Work at the site is
expected to last through the fall season.
