For Immediate Release
MARCY— Betsy the Barge – the 110-foot floating
stage on the old Erie Canal – continues with its concert series this
summer with the special talents of Joe Angerosa, the well-known
Elvis impersonator. Thanks to the sponsorship of the New York Power
Authority, he will appear at Betsy the Barge on Friday, August 31,
beginning at 6 p.m.
Angerosa’s “Memories of Elvis” tribute is so
realistic that “it will make you feel that the King has returned,”
said a entertainment commentator recently. Angerosa has performed it
several times in Las Vegas and at over 500 other venues throughout
the United States for the past 25 years.
Betsy the Barge is located at Canal Park, Lock 20
along Route 49. Admission to the concert is free and food and drinks
are on sale throughout the performances.
