LEWISTON—The New York Power Authority (NYPA)
announced today it will host a meeting of the four Greenway Fund
Standing Committees established by the Niagara Power Project
Relicensing Settlement Agreements. The meeting will be on Friday,
August 3 at 10am and will be held in the Power Vista, the visitors
center on the grounds of the Niagara Power Project.
The meeting agenda includes discussion of Standing
Committee Protocols and information required for Greenway project
proposals. Standing Committees determine whether, and at what level,
proposed Greenway projects will be funded. The meeting is open to
the public.
The draft Protocols will guide Standing Committee
decision-making and are based on Settlement Agreement commitments
made by NYPA and its settlement partners. The Protocols detail such
topics as committee membership, meeting requirements, committee
