New York State Safe Boating
Certification Course to be Held at Power Authority Visitors Center

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NORTH BLENHEIM—The New York Power Authority will
offer a free New York State Safe Boating Certification Course on
Saturday, July 21 at 9:00 a.m.
Dennis Downs, a certified instructor for the New
York Safe Boating Course will conduct the eight hour course at the
Power Authority’s Blenheim-Gilboa Project Visitors’ Center, located
17 miles south of Middleburgh on Route 30.
Participants are required to complete the classroom
session and pass a final exam with a grade of 75 percent or better
to be eligible for certification.
Due to limited space, reservations are required.
