Opportunity: NYPA
Announces First Municipal Electric Systems in State to Participate
in Energy Efficient Refrigerator Program

New York Power Authority (NYPA) President and Chief
Executive Officer Timothy S. Carey will be joined by local officials
at 1 pm on Wednesday (May 23) to announce participation in NYPA’s
program to replace aging refrigerators with energy efficient models
in public housing. The news conference will be held at the Ivy
Terrace Room in Tupper Lake.
A model refrigerator will be on view at the news
conference. In addition, this week, including Wednesday,
refrigerators are scheduled to be delivered and installed in Tupper
Lake public housing located adjacent to the news conference
location.
