FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MARCY—Victor Costanza of Frankfort, a systems
analyst at the New York Power Authority’s (NYPA) Frederick R. Clark
Energy Center, has been named Employee of the First Quarter for
2007.
Costanza, who joined the Power Authority’s
Transmission Business Unit in 2002, was recognized for demonstrating
an ongoing commitment to excellence. His dedication was displayed
recently when he responded aggressively to a computer system failure
at NYPA’s Energy Control Center even though he was off-duty at the
time.
“Victor’s knowledge, positive attitude and personal
drive make him one of our most valued employees,” said Steven J.
DeCarlo, the Power Authority’s senior vice president transmission.
“He is a pleasure to work with.”
The Clark Energy Center includes the Energy Control
Center, which coordinates the Power Authority’s statewide generation
and transmission operations, as well as the Authority’s transmission
maintenance and training facilities.
