NYPA to Honor Moms at Power Vista

LEWISTON—The New York Power Authority (NYPA) will
celebrate Mother’s Day a day early on Saturday (May 12) by
presenting free plants to the first 200 moms to arrive at the Power
Vista, the admission-free visitors center at NYPA’s Niagara Power
Project.
The Power Vista, located at 5777 Lewiston Road,
will be open as usual from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It features a wide
range of interactive displays and exhibits on such subjects as
electricity production, energy efficiency and the history of power
development on the Niagara Frontier.
The Mother’s Day program is part of the
family-oriented “Sensational Saturdays” series scheduled at the
Power Vista throughout the year. Information on the Mother’s Day
