Caption and Photo: New York Power Authority Helps Launch Bronx River Alliance Summer Canoe/Kayak Program May 9, 2007 Caption: Gathered for the presentation of the New York Power Authority’s (NYPA) $4,500 donation to the Bronx Alliance summer canoe/kayak program are, from left to right, Bronx River Alliance Chairman Dart Westphal; First Deputy Mayor Patricia E. The presentation took place just before the launch of the first of the over 80 kayaks and canoes in the annual Bronx River Flotilla on Saturday, May 5th.
