FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LEWISTON—The New York Power Authority (NYPA) will
hold its annual Earth Day event – “Every Day Is Earth Day” – on
Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Power Vista, the

Vista’s ongoing Sensational Saturdays program. Some of the
exhibitors will be Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens,
Hamburg Natural History Society, Modern Disposal and Olcott Beach
Carousel Park.
Trolley car transportation, provided by the New

Gorge Discovery Center. In addition, free saplings will be given to
the first 300 families to arrive.
The Power Vista is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
(except for major holidays) and features a wide range of interactive
exhibits and displays on such subjects as electricity, energy
efficiency and Niagara Frontier history. The visitors center is also
