NASCAR Car to be Displayed at
Annual D.A.R.E. Show - Event Set for June 10 at Power Authority

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NORTH BLENHEIM—A onetime NASCAR Nextel Cup race
car—Roush Racing Ford Fusion Car No. 17—will be displayed at the
13th annual D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Car Show on
Sunday, June 10 on the visitors center grounds at the New York Power
Authority’s Blenheim-Gilboa Pumped Storage Power Project.
The car, which was driven by Matt Kenseth, will be
on view throughout the admission-free event, marking the first time
a NASCAR race car will be featured at the D.A.R.E. show. The event
is scheduled for noon to 4 p.m., with car registration from 8 a.m.
to noon.
The D.A.R.E. car show is open to classic cars and
trucks, antiques, customs, street machines and rods. Registration
is $10 per vehicle. There will be awards for top vehicles in class
and mementos for all entrants.
