Power Vista to Welcome Santa

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LEWISTON—The Power Vista, the admission-free
visitors center at the New York Power Authority’s Niagara Power
Project, will get a head start on holiday fun with the arrival of
Santa Claus on Saturday (Dec. 2).
Children will have the opportunity to share their
wish lists with Santa and to have photos taken with him from 10 a.m.
to 2 p.m. Other special activities, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will
include face painting and festive crafts. Donations of
non-perishable food items for area food banks will be appreciated.
The Power Vista, offering an enjoyable and
educational experience for the entire family, is normally open daily
from 9 a .m. to 5 p.m., but will be closed on Dec. 24 and 25 and
Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. The center features more than 50 interactive
exhibits and displays on such subjects as electricity, energy
efficiency and the area’s history. It is handicapped-accessible and
parking is free.
