NYPA History Video Scheduled for Area Cable

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WHITE PLAINS—A video depicting the history of the
New York Power Authority will be available on Cablevision channels
in Westchester County and the Hudson Valley beginning Saturday (Nov.
11) and continuing through Dec. 9.
The video, produced to mark the Power Authority’s
75th anniversary this year and titled “Bold Dream…Shining Legacy,”
includes extensive coverage of events leading to the Power
Authority’s founding in 1931 and goes on to trace its growth into
the nation’s largest state-owned electric utility.
The schedule:
Yonkers (Channel 18)—Saturdays at 4 p.m. on Nov.
11, 18 and 25 and Dec. 2.
Yorktown (Channel 22)—Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m. on Nov.
14, 21 and 28 and Dec. 5.
New Rochelle (Channel 76) and Harrison/Port Chester
(Channel 18)—Wednesdays at 6 p.m. on Nov. 15, 22 and 29 and Dec. 6.
Wappingers Falls (Channel 21)—Wednesdays at 4:30
p.m. on Nov. 15, 22, 29 and Dec. 6.
Peekskill/Ossining (Channel 15; Channel 96 with no
cable box)—Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 18 and 25 and Dec. 2 and
9.
