Power Authority to Play Host to 'S'cary'

NORTH BLENHEIM—The admission-free visitors center
at the New York Power Authority’s Blenheim-Gilboa Pumped Storage
Power Project will play host to its annual “S’cary Halloween in
Schoharie County” event on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
With plenty of tricks and treats for the entire
family, the program will feature s’cary costumes and prizes, s’cary
Halloween stories by Mary Murphy of Albany, prizes from the pumpkin
patch and free hayrides. There will also be free refreshments.
The visitors center is located on State Route 30,
17 miles south of Middleburgh and five miles north of Grand Gorge.
