NYPA Wildlife Festival Set for Sept. 23

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DEERFIELD—Animals, food and fun will share the
spotlight on Saturday (Sept. 23) at the 5th annual New York Power
Authority (NYPA) Wildlife Festival at Deerfield Wilderness Park on
Walker Road. The event is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with free
admission and parking.
Featured animal attractions include Birds of Prey,
MaxMan Reptiles Rescue, the Warlord Samoyed Dog Sled Team, Fort
Rickey Discovery Zoo and numerous exhibits on hunting and fishing.
“It will be a full-filled day for the entire
family,” said Carol Rodino, NYPA community relations manager.
“Whether it’s the animal attractions, a hayride around the scenic
grounds or watching in amazement the chain saw skills of Mark Tyoe,
there will be something for everyone. There will also be plenty of
food and entertainment.”
